New Mammogram Advice Raises Concerns

NEW YORK — For many women, getting a mammogram is already one of life’s more stressful experiences.

Now, women in their 40s have the added anxiety of trying to figure out if they should even be getting one at all.

A government task force said Monday that most women don’t need mammograms in their 40s and should get one every two years starting at 50 — a stunning reversal and a break with the American Cancer Society’s long-standing position. What’s more, the panel said breast self-exams do no good, and women shouldn’t be taught to do them.

The news seemed destined to leave many deeply confused about whose advice to follow.

“I’ve never had a scare, but isn’t it better to be safe than sorry?” asked Beth Rosenthal, 41, sitting in a San Francisco cafe on Monday afternoon with her friend and their small children. “I’ve heard of a lot of women in their 40s, and even 30s, who’ve gotten breast cancer. It just doesn’t seem right to wait until 50.”

Her friend agreed. “I don’t think I’ll wait,” said Leslie David-Jones, also 41, shaking her head. FULL STORY

Well, there you go. We’ve been warning that a government run health care plan would lead to substandard care, & the Federal Government telling people what to do with their bodies in order to save money & grow the government even more. Now here they are contradicting even the advice of Cancer Experts like The American Cancer Society, & trying to prepare & condition the Masses to accept substandard medical screening. This would accomplish a few goals for “progressives” as liberals like to call themselves these days. It would lower the so called “carbon footprint” if they could kill off some people with breasts cancer, & also meet their goals of general population control & lowering medical costs. The cost would be lower because they will be letting people die without treatment! I know, I know, that sounds crazy & Orwellian right? Well consider this. You may recall reading or hearing that Obama’s “science czar” John Holdren is a big fan of killing off babies, & older people in order to preserve the “Planetary Regime” that would oversee human population levels and control all natural resources as a means of protecting the planet. Time to wake people. These people are both insane enough to do this, & currently have the most power in our Government.

With Nancy Pelosi & Harry Reid trying to ram a public healthcare option that they can’t possible pay for down our throats, it’s no surprise they are looking for ways to kill off some of those they consider peasants in order to meet their budgetary goals. 2010 is you chance to put sane people back in power, & marginalize these eugenics loving, baby killing psychopaths that somehow weaseled their way into our government. This is a life or death struggle my fellow citizens. Make no mistake.

Even the baby killing PLANNED PARENTHOOD supporting liberals over at the Susan G. Komen for the Cure for Breast Cancer organization realize this is insanity.. Or maybe they just realize it’s a losing battle in the Press? Whatever the case, they gave a tempered rebuke to the Obama Administrations new mammogram policy.. BTW, You may wonder why I put the responsibility squarely on the shoulders of the Obama administration. Well read up on his “Science Czar“, & I think you’ll make the connection. The every liberal ABC News tries to lessen the blow to Obama here, by suggesting that”some cancers will go away on their own”, but in the end even they recommend these new guidelines are ignored.

What kind of Hopey/Changey were they expecting?
